Has been collected on a building plot in november 2013. A lot of building up ahead, a bit of carving where it has been chopped-off, etc.

little Ash
Ash, or Fraxinus Excelsior
Grow, little fellow!
For now, both lower branches are kept to help thicken that tiny trunk a bit. No definite branch selection yet. An option is even to chop off the trunk and only leave both lower branches, to create the tiniest of tiny Ash natural broom-style. Although a broom is not really its natural canopy.
No hurry

Malus - update 16th May 2016
16th May 2016
Update of my Malus. Prebonsai, building up...
Well, you have to start somewhere, to build up a canopy. The last picture is the 'before'.
No more intervening until july, or perhaps even next winter.

Rowan #2 some more carving and ready for spring
May 2nd, 2016
I've extended the existing and natural hollow/dead wood down the trunk. In early summer I will carve it out a bit more but not until I've seen a good strong growth. If all goes well, this will be a nice little Rowan. I have this one since early april 2015. This winter I pruned it back, and now I see a good lot of new buds starting to open up. Well, another 5 years to build up the basics for a new canopy. I love Rowan...
